Deep, Somatic, Trauma-Informed Therapy for Nervous System Restoration & Integration
A holistic therapeutic approach blending somatic work, parts work, hypnotherapy, attachment repair, and psychedelic integration.
The ALIGN Method™
A holistic therapeutic model for trauma healing, nervous system restoration, and authentic self‑reconnection.
A
Attune to the Body
- Re-establishing connection with the body as the primary source of truth.
- Using somatic tracking, interoception, breath, and bilateral stimulation to notice sensations without overwhelm.
- Restoring safety in the nervous system so deeper work becomes possible.
L
Locate the Parts
- Identifying the protective, exiled, or wounded parts that carry unmet needs, fear, or old narratives.
- Using IFS-informed language to help clients recognize inner dynamics with compassion rather than shame.
- Creating space for each part to be witnessed without collapsing into it.
I
Integrate the Story
- Making meaning of the client’s lived experience without retraumatizing or over-identifying.
- Reprocessing memories through somatic, bilateral, imagery and hypnosis techniques.
- Helping clients understand how their adaptations were intelligent responses to past conditions.
G
Grow New Patterns
- Rewiring the nervous system toward regulation, capacity, and choice.
- Practicing new relational templates, boundaries, and self-leadership.
- Supporting clients in building a life that reflects their healed identity rather than their survival strategies.
N
Nurture the Authentic Self
- Reclaiming desires, voice, creativity, and embodied confidence.
- Cultivating rituals, practices, and environments that support ongoing integration.
- Anchoring clients in a sense of wholeness that feels lived, not conceptual.
Holistic Therapy
My work is rooted in the understanding that healing is not just psychological — it is somatic, relational, spiritual, and deeply personal. Many of the women who find me have tried traditional talk therapy for years and still feel stuck in the same patterns: overwhelmed, disconnected from their bodies, and unsure how to rebuild a sense of self that feels grounded and alive.
Holistic therapy offers a different path. It honors the whole person — nervous system, identity, intuition, relationships, and lived experience — and creates space for healing that is both clinically backed by science and soulfully attuned.
What I Help Clients Heal
My clients come to me carrying layers of pain that often feel tangled and hard to name. Through my integrative approach, I support them in healing:
- Complex trauma — the long-term impact of chronic stress, relational harm, and survival adaptations
- Relational and attachment wounds — patterns formed in childhood or adulthood that shape how they love, trust, and connect
- Narcissistic and high-control relationship dynamics — the erosion of self-trust, intuition, and identity
- Chronic dysregulation — nervous systems stuck in fight, flight, freeze, or fawn
- Emotional overwhelm — sensitivity that feels like “too much” because it was never supported
- Identity collapse — losing one’s voice, desires, or sense of direction
- Spiritual disorientation — the confusion that comes when old frameworks fall apart and new ones haven’t yet formed
These aren’t just “symptoms.” They are the echoes of a system that has been carrying too much, for too long, without the right kind of support.
Maria’s Therapeutic Approach & integrative Therapeutic Modalities
My approach is gentle, attuned, and deeply regulating — designed to meet sensitive nervous systems with safety rather than pressure.
01
Attachment repair
to gently unwind old relational patterns, rebuild internal and external trust, and help women experience boundaries not as walls or fear responses but as expressions of self-respect, clarity, and emotional safety. This work restores the capacity to be in connection without losing oneself.
02
Somatic therapy
to reconnect clients with the wisdom of their bodies, soften chronic survival responses, and cultivate internal safety through breath, sensation tracking, grounding, and nervous system attunement. This helps women shift from intellectual understanding to embodied transformation.
03
IFS/ Parts work
to help women recognize, honor, and integrate the protective, wounded, and exiled parts within them — not as flaws, but as intelligent adaptations. Through compassionate witnessing, these parts soften, allowing the Self to lead with clarity, confidence, and grounded presence.
04
Hypnotherapy
to access the subconscious patterns shaping identity, beliefs, and emotional responses, allowing clients to gently rewire old narratives and anchor new internal truths.
05
Brainspotting
to process trauma stored beneath language by accessing the brain–body connection through focused gaze and attuned presence, helping clients release what has been held in the nervous system for years.
06
Nervous system regulation
to expand capacity, resilience, and the ability to stay grounded in moments that once felt overwhelming.
07
Holistic and spiritual integration
to support meaning-making, intuition, and identity as clients step into a more aligned, embodied version of themselves.
08
My ALIGN Method™
as the overarching framework that guides clients from fragmentation back into wholeness.
This is not talk therapy. It is experiential, embodied, and transformative
A process that helps clients rebuild from the inside out.
Psychedelic Integration & KAP
Psychedelic experiences can open profound layers of insight, emotion, and spiritual awareness — but without grounded support, those openings can feel disorienting or incomplete. My approach to psychedelic integration and Ketamine‑Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is gentle, embodied, and deeply regulating, helping clients translate expanded states into lasting transformation.
I offer:
- Preparation sessions to establish safety, clarify intentions, and support clients in entering their journey with grounding, clarity, and a regulated nervous system
- Integration sessions to help clients make sense of what emerged, weaving insights into their daily lives with compassion and coherence
- Meaning-making to explore symbolic, emotional, and spiritual themes that arise, supporting clients in understanding the deeper layers of their experience
- Somatic grounding to help the body process what the mind cannot articulate, allowing insights to settle into the nervous system rather than remain conceptual
- Parts work during integration to support protective and wounded parts that may surface during or after psychedelic states, helping clients integrate rather than fragment
- Nervous system stabilization to anchor clients in safety, especially when experiences feel overwhelming, confusing, or activating
- Support for insights, emotions, and spiritual experiences so clients can honor what emerged without bypassing, collapsing, or losing themselves in the intensity
My integration work is not about chasing peak experiences — it’s about helping clients translate expanded awareness into embodied change, restoring coherence, clarity, and self-leadership.
What My Clients Are Saying
Jenn F.
Working with Maria through the ALIGN Method™ changed my life in ways I didn’t expect. I came in feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from myself, and week by week I started to feel my body soften and my nervous system settle. The parts work helped me change patterns I’d carried for years, and the integration phase brought a clarity I’ve never felt in therapy before. I’m leaving this process with stronger boundaries, a deeper sense of who I am, and a level of inner calm I didn’t think was possible. Maria’s presence is so attuned and grounding — I was able to find myself through the depth of her mirroring and guidance.
Questions? I’ve got answers.
Frequently asked questions —
How long will I need to be in therapy for anxiety?
The length of therapy varies from person to person. It depends on your specific goals, whether your anxiety is more generalized or tied to a particular situation, and how much it’s affecting your day-to-day life.
Will I get homework assignments?
I don’t assign formal homework, but we’ll often talk about things you can practice between sessions to help you get the most out of therapy. This might include trying out coping strategies, reflecting on patterns, or exploring situations that contribute to your anxiety.
Is online therapy effective for anxiety counseling?
Yes — research consistently shows that online therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy for treating anxiety. In fact, some people find it even more helpful, especially if they experience social anxiety or feel overwhelmed by the idea of going to a therapy office.
How do I get started?
If you’re ready to begin therapy, I recommend booking an appointment directly through my online calendar here.
I’ve done my best to include all necessary information on my FAQ and service pages so that you are able to make an informed decision without needing to confirm with me first (or without having to wait to schedule a call).
